Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineering or Development Manager to lead and oversee the end-to-end development of AI-powered applications. This role involves managing a team of AI engineers, software developers, and data scientists to build and deploy cutting-edge AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI/ML application development, software engineering, and project management, with a passion for leading teams and delivering high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Application Development & Management

• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven applications.
• Lead the integration of machine learning models into scalable software solutions.
• Ensure AI applications meet high performance, reliability, and security standards.

2. Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Manage and mentor a team of AI engineers, software developers, and data scientists.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative environment to drive AI product development.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to create intuitive AI-driven user experiences.
• Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to align AI solutions with business goals.

3. Technical Strategy & Architecture

• Define the technical architecture for AI applications, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Drive best practices in AI model deployment, MLOps, and software development lifecycle.
• Oversee API development and microservices architecture for seamless AI model integration.

4. Cloud & Infrastructure Management

• Deploy AI applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) using scalable architectures.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure to support AI/ML workloads efficiently.
• Implement DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows.

5. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor AI model performance and iterate based on real-world data and user feedback.
• Address technical challenges, including model drift, bias mitigation, and AI explainability.
• Stay up to date with AI advancements and implement innovative approaches to improve AI applications.

6. Project & Stakeholder Management

• Define project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation for AI initiatives.
• Manage budgets and technical roadmaps to ensure successful project execution.
• Present AI development updates and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in AI application development, software engineering, or related roles.
• 3+ years of experience leading AI/ML or software development teams.

Technical Skills

• Strong programming experience with Python, Java, or JavaScript for AI development.
• Expertise in AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Keras.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for AI deployment.
• Proficiency in API development, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and MLOps.
• Understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
